A digital kiosk allows you to create personalized shopping experiences, enabling customers to
configure products directly on the device.
It offers the ability to pay via POS and print receipts.
A kiosk makes the purchasing process faster and more autonomous, reducing queues at the checkout.
Additionally, it provides access to an extended catalog, including products not physically available in
the store, improving the overall experience and increasing customer satisfaction.
The main need of the client was to speed up the process of customizing and purchasing player jerseys, especially on match days when there is a higher influx of customers.
We chose to use Shopify and Hydrogen, which allowed us to create a custom user interface that is simple, engaging, and aligned with
the team’s brand.
For the kiosk’s technology partner, we selected VNE, a leader in the automatic payment systems sector.
The UI/UX team worked in synergy with the technical team to create a user experience suitable for the large 32'' touchscreen of the kiosk. We developed a wizard that allows customers to choose a product, customize it, and complete the purchase in just a few steps.
The digital kiosks installed in the team’s store reduced waiting and customization times for player jerseys. This led to an increase in sales by adding new “digital clerks” capable of managing the entire purchase flow: Customization, payment, receipt, and order processing.
We integrated the kiosk with a POS system for digital payments, accepting all major payment cards, and also added a fiscal printer for receipt printing.
After a purchase, the kiosk sends the order with all the requested customizations to a thermal printer located in the t-shirt printing area. This has sped up the jersey production process and reduced errors, making the production process more efficient. See photo.
